About

I am a graduate of the University of Washington’s HCDE MS program who enjoys combining user-centered techniques with my 10 years of visual and graphic design experience. This combination of experience and education gives me the skillset to follow projects from preliminary research to prototype. My strengths include:

  • Delivering design assets at all stages from sketch to high-fidelity prototype

  • Presenting research findings and design recommendations using a range of deliverables including user flows, interaction maps, slide decks and reports.

  • Working with a cross-disciplinary team to design products that balance user needs and business goals

I’m also passionate about inclusive design. Over the past three years, I’ve advocated for web accessibility best practices within my current role, and enjoyed volunteering with and designing for older adults.

When I’m not working, I like to take well-planned adventures, which have included hiking 1,300 miles on the Appalachian Trail and circumnavigating Iceland’s Ring Road in a camper van. At the same time, I cherish my cozier interests—I’m an avid podcast listener, sci-fi reader, animation fan, video gamer, and cat caretaker.
